Music with heart. Stories that stay with you.

Join us for Echoes of Hope, a powerful evening of music that lifts up the voices, cultures, and stories of people who have been forced to start over. This benefit concert supports the International Rescue Committee (IRC), which helps refugees and families around the world rebuild their lives after war, disaster, and displacement.

You’ll hear music from across the globe—moving, joyful, haunting, and deeply human. It’s a celebration of resilience, community, and the healing power of sound.

Featuring:

  • Emerald City Chamber Players — a standout group of musicians (many from NOCCO) known for their artistry and connection with the audience

  • Valentyn Lysenko — Ukrainian bandura virtuoso whose music captures the heartbreak and hope of his homeland

  • Darin Chhing — Cambodian-American composer whose deeply personal music honors his family's survival of the Khmer Rouge

  • Roosevelt High School Orchestra — one of the top student ensembles in the country, bringing fresh energy and heart to the stage

What you’ll hear:

A powerful mix of music by Florence PriceWilliam Grant StillMohammed FairouzDvorákJohn Williams, and more—woven together with Ukrainian folk melodiesArabic and Latin rhythms, and African-inspired violin and piano works.

It’s music shaped by migration, memory, and the hope of new beginnings.

Why it matters:

Every ticket helps the IRC provide shelter, education, and opportunity to those who’ve lost everything—and are starting again. Every note played is a reminder that we are all connected.

Come. Listen. Give. Hope.
