Stephen Harris Park Concept Plan Approved
On August 10, 2023, the EDHCSD Board approved the final concept design for the Stephen Harris Park renovations. The new amenities include:
- 2 Tennis Courts - one over-striped for pickleball
- New! 6 Pickleball Courts
- New! Full Basketball Court
- Drought Tolerant Landscaping (portion paid with Bureau of Reclamation WaterSMART Grant)
Stephen Harris Park also includes a natural grass field, ¼ mile paved path around the courts, a playground, picnic tables, barbecue pits, a drinking fountain, restrooms, and two parking lots. Construction for this project is anticipated for 2024.
Join the LLAD Advisory Committee!
The District’s newest committee is the Citizens Advisory Committee for Landscape and Lighting Assessment Districts (LLADs) - known as the LLAD Advisory Committee. This committee reviews budgeted vs actual costs, issues with underfunded LLADs, and learns about LLAD financials and various LLAD operations. Those on the Committee serve as a liaison between the LLAD community and the Board of Directors. Each member is appointed by the Board of Directors at a regular public meeting. - Lap Swim at Community Pool: October 2nd-October 30th on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5:30-7am.
Youth:
- Adventure Zone Afterschool Program (K-5th)
- TEENZ Center Afterschool Program (6th-8th)
- Winter Youth Basketball League
- Toddler & Youth Dance Classes
Adults & Seniors:
- Drop-In Open Gym: Mondays and Wednesdays weekly from 8-10pm.
- Drop-In Pickleball: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12pm at Community Park Gym. $4/person.

Meetings are currently held hybrid to allow members of the public to attend in person or via Zoom. Limited seating available. Per policy, Board Agendas are posted the Friday before the regularly scheduled meeting date.
