E-Week Student and Alumni Networking Event

March 7, 2025

1:30 – 3:30 p.m. - The Reflector, Room 201, Townsend Hall
Have you ever wanted to hear directly from Mizzou alumni about what their day-to-day work looks like, stories from their careers, or even advice for graduating seniors? You'll have a chance to do all this and more at this informal event (just bring yourself).

Alumni Happy Hour
4 p.m. - The Heidelberg
Join us at The Heidelberg to catch up with former classmates and friends of the College.

6:30 p.m. - Francis Quadrangle - Dome Lighting, Jesse Hall

One of the most visible and highly anticipated E-week events for not only Mizzou Engineers but all of the Mizzou campus and Columbia community. Come out to watch Jesse Hall's dome turn green to signify the start of Engineers' Week at Mizzou.

March 8, 2025

10 a.m. - Road Rally

Teams will follow clues given at each stop, where a King and Queen candidate are waiting to challenge the team and reward their valiant effort with a clue to the next stop. The teams journey across Columbia and finish at a secret location for food and fun. There will be team prizes!

March 9, 2025

9 a.m. - 5K/10K Shamrock Race for Charity - North side of Lafferre Hall (Shamrock Plaza)

This race will take place on Columbia's downtown streets. Proceeds are donated to benefit a local cause as an opportunity to give back to the community.

1 p.m. - 101 Swallow Hall - Ada Wilson Green Tea Lecture

All students are invited to celebrate women in engineering at the Green Tea Lecture celebrates women in engineering. The event is being held to recognize seniors graduating from the College of Engineering and is open to all! This year's featured speaker is Reates Curry. Following the lecture, please join Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost Matthew Martens for refreshments at the Green Tea Reception in the Chancellor's Residence 2-4 p.m. Seniors will be honored at the event. RSVP by March 4.

March 10, 2025

11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - The Hot Dog Banquet - Shamrock Plaza

Hot Dog Banquet is our way to give back to the students of the College of Engineering. We offer a free lunch for all students, faculty and staff. The event will be held outside of Lafferre Hall on Shamrock Plaza and is a great way for the College of Engineering to come together. There might even be a hot dog eating contest!

March 12, 2025

7 p.m. - Skits & BBQ

Skits & BBQ brings students and faculty together. Royalty candidates put on humorous skits that are judged by our very own staff and faculty. Attendees can enjoy BBQ while they watch the skits that celebrate the College of Engineering.

March 13, 2025

9 a.m. - Lab Exhibits - Lafferre Hall

Departments and research groups open their labs to the public to showcase the innovation happening at Mizzou Engineering. Engineering students volunteer to present and give tours to grade schools, high schools and other community members.

March 14, 2025

5 p.m. - Knighting Ceremony and Grand Kowtow - Shamrock Plaza

The Knighting Ceremony and Grand Kowtow are long-running traditions of Engineers' Week. This is the only time St. Patrick comes to campus, as he safely travels to Mizzou to honor hard-working senior engineering students and celebrate their achievements within the College of Engineering.

Celtic Games - TBA - Stankowski Fields 2 and 3

Engineers will compete in field day events such as tug of war, foot races, various yard games and finishing it off, a large game of capture the flag. Join for good fun and comradery in the newest event.

6 p.m. - St. Patrick's Ball - Reynolds Alumni Center ballroom

St. Pat's Ball, the concluding Engineers' Week event, dates back to 1905 and is one of the oldest E-Week traditions. The ball includes food, drinks and dancing. During the festivities, the Queen and the King are crowned by St. Patrick.
