Help Us Supply Students In Need
It's that time of year! Our Tools 4 Seminole Schools' (T4SS) Annual Supply Drive has started! By hosting a supply drive at your business or donating through our Virtual Supply Drive, you'll be providing essential school supplies to keep students learning all year long. 50% of students in SCPS are on the free and reduced meal program, and Tools 4 Seminole Schools ensures students in need have access to free classroom supplies.
You can also provide Tools for Back to School by shopping at Publix! When you donate $5 or more at the cash register now through July 23, you will provide much needed supplies to students in need AND receive a free reusable shopping bag! Learn more.
To find out how you can support T4SS and the students and teachers of Seminole County Public Schools, please check out our T4SS Supply Drive Toolkit or call 407.320.7768.
Male Mentors Needed!
Do you have 30 minutes to change the life of a student? This fall we're excited to welcome 30 new freshmen to the Take Stock in Children program. By mentoring one of these students just half an hour a week, the difference you make will last a lifetime! It is an incredibly rewarding experience and our Take Stock staff will be there to support you along the way. No mentoring experience necessary, we will provide you with the resources and mentor toolkit to get started!
We are currently in need of male mentors at Lyman high school, Seminole high school and Crooms Academy.

FARO Supports STEM in SCPS
We want to give a big thank you to FARO Technologies for donating $23,000 to support STEM projects in our Grants for Great Ideas program! These projects enable teachers to go beyond their budgets and enrich classroom curriculum with hands-on content for students with technologies and resources they may not have had the opportunity to experience.
Have You Heard?
Thank you to Sanford Porchfest who has donated to our scholarship fund for the third year in a row! With a recent $15,000 donation they will provide scholarships to the Class of 2024 who plan to major in the Arts.
Sanford Porchfest is a nonprofit that unifies its community through music with the mission of enhancing access to and and promoting the arts through educational scholarships.Thank you for caring so much about the arts in our community!
We are so thankful to our committed donors like the John & Beverly Sobik Help Foundation who continue to give support students year after year.
Their recent $14,000 donation will go to provide essentials for students experiencing homelessness through the Families in Need program. The most recent count showed over 2,100 homeless students in Seminole County so the need is great and donations like these make a big impact to support these students.
