From: Erie PlayhouseA note from Artistic Director Richard Davis
We had a huge weekend at the Playhouse!
We opened our suspenseful production of THE DA VINCI CODE, expertly directed by our Executive Director Zach Flock and brilliantly acted by our outstanding cast. The show kept audiences on the edge of their seats and elicited gasps during the final twists and turns. If you're wondering how we managed to pull off the myriad of locations in the story, I urge you to come and see what our production staff, aided by projections designed by Britty Lea, have created—I know you'll be amazed!
The weekend ended with a bang as 130 Erie residents auditioned for our productions of MY FAIR LADY, THE ELEPHANT MAN and FROZEN. We saw an amazing amount of talent, ranging in age from 8 to 70+. We’re so excited to share the cast lists with you! With all this talent, our final three shows are going to be incredible.
Choice Cards are still available and are a great way to ensure you don’t miss a show while saving money!
While all of that was happening, our 30 cats have been singing, twirling, leaping, flipping, and tapping as we get ready for opening night on July 25th. Tickets go on sale July 1st, so mark your calendars to get yours early! You won't want to miss what is sure to be the hit of the summer.
