7:30am: Farr West Freedom Festival Golf Tournament, Remuda Golf Course, (shotgun start)

$340 per team, includes 18 holes with cart, swag bag, continental breakfast, warm up range balls, on-course contests, drinks and lunch afterwards!
All ages and abilities welcome.  Separate divisions for Med and Co-ed teams.  Prize winnings for top 3 grossing teams in each division.  
Door prizes for patriotically dressed golfers and best decorated carts.  Raffle drawing for golf gear and more!

3rd Annual Park 2 Park Ride, meet at flagpole at Smith Family Park and ride, using the Farr West Bikeway, to flagpole at Mountain View Park.

Weber Fire/Weber County Sheriff Office vs Farr West City Softball Tournament, 8:30 p.m.
Come support Farr West residents as they take on a team from Weber Fire District and Weber County Sheriff's Office in a fun game under the lights! Enjoy a great evening with exciting action and delicious eats from local food trucks!

July 4, 2025

7am: 5k Run/Walk

We have teamed up with the Jason W. Read Protect and Serve Foundation once again!  All proceeds go to equipment, training and funding local law enforcement agencies in protecting their officers.

New route this year as the 5k will start and end at the City Office.  

No Registrations Will Be Accepted After June 30th.? Shirt sizes are only guaranteed to those who pre-register.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.

All registrations will be done Online. There will be no in person registrations.

8:30am: Flag Ceremony & Grand Marshal Presentation

Flag Ceremony by a local Boy Scout Troop.  National Anthem sung by Jessica Davis. 

Lyle and Dlaina Earl will then be honored at this year's 2025 Grand Marshals.

9:30am: ?Parade

Kids parade will start right at 9:30 a.m., with the main parade to immediately follow.  Kids can line up on the east side of the church in front of the city office.  The parade will start on 1800 North in front of the City Office/church and will continue east on 1800 North until 1350 West, where it will turn south and travel to 1500 North and turn west, ending at Mountain View Park.

Smith Family Park

7 - 10 p.m. - Food Trucks & Vendors

Sawdust Scramble and Children's Races, 7:30 p.m.

The children's races will start at 7:30 p.m., each participant will receive a small prize.

The saw dust scramble will immediately follow, this event is for children 16 years old and younger. Age brackets are 0-2 yrs, 3-4 yrs, 5-6 yrs, 7-9 yrs, 10-12 yrs and 13-16 yrs.  Prizes include candy and coins!

Dance Party, 9 - 10 p.m.

10pm: Fireworks - Vortex
