From: State Historical Society of North DakotaBISMARCK, N.D. - The Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site will be hosting “Fibers and Flavors,” Saturday, Oct. 14, 1-4 p.m. Fiber craft enthusiasts, bring your crochet, knitting or preferred fiber craft projects to work on in the ambiance of the Former Governors’ Mansion. Share techniques and show off your snazzy stitches. The event is free, and apple cider and cookies will be served. All ages are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Former Governors’ Mansion, located at 320 East Ave. B, Bismarck, is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Admission is free. The Former Governors’ Mansion is open 1-5 p.m. the second combined Friday and Saturday of each month or by appointment. For more information, call 701.328.9528.
