Help kick-off Fire & Ice festival weekend with a candle-lit hike at Crossroads at Big Creek on one of their trails in the enchanting glow of luminaries from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm. Warm up around a toasty campfire with hot chocolate, heart-shaped cookies, and the good company of people after the hike.

Stroll through downtown Sturgeon Bay Saturday, February 15 as talented ice carvers transform blocks of ice into stunning works of art from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. If you miss those ice carvers throughout Sturgeon Bay, be sure to visit Crossroads at Big Creek for an ice harvesting demonstration with volunteers from the Madden Tool Museum from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, demonstrating how ice was gathered in Sturgeon Bay in the 1800s. Enjoy hassle-free transportation with trolley loops running from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Trolley stops include T. Simon Jewelers, Bay Shore Outfitters, Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar, Third Avenue PlayWorks, and Door County Fire Company.
Be sure to check out additional community events happening throughout the day including TAP’s Indoor Winter Market 10:00 am to 2:00 pm! Vendors feature a variety of artists, crafters, and producers with original, quality products.
