KENT, Ohio – The Kent State field hockey hosted Appalachian State on Friday at Murphy-Mellis Field in the team's third MAC conference game of the 2024 season. The visiting Mountaineers escaped with a 1-0 victory over the Flashes in a matchup of teams previously unbeaten in conference play.
