District 1 winner Jimmy Patronis and District 6 winner Randy Fine will work to ensure President Trump’s America First agenda gets the votes needed in Congress

“D.C. Democrats threw everything they had at us, lost more than $10 million betting against the Florida GOP and they lost it all,” said Evan Power, Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. “The Florida GOP proved once again that Republican dominance in Florida is here to stay. We congratulate Congressmen-elect Patronis and Fine on their hard-fought victories and look forward to them delivering big results for President Trump and our country in Congress!”

Outspent 9 to 1 by Democrats, Florida Stays Solid Red

TALLAHASSEE, FL - In a major blow to national Democrats and a strong affirmation of Florida’s status as a solid Republican state, the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) is proud to declare victory in both Congressional District 1 and Congressional District 6 special elections. With Jimmy Patronis and Randy Fine securing decisive wins, Florida Republicans have once again demonstrated their unwavering support for President Donald J. Trump and the America First agenda.

Despite being outspent nearly 9 to 1 by national Democrats and their allied dark money groups, Florida Republicans delivered a grassroots-powered victory that reinforces the state’s position as the cornerstone of the conservative movement. From Pensacola to Palm Coast, the RPOF rallied volunteers from across the state to knock on doors, make phone calls, and encourage Republicans to get out and vote.
