2025 Florida Renaissance Festival Themed Weekends!

Get ready to immerse yourself in eight consecutive weekends of thrilling adventures and unforgettable experiences. Each weekend boasts a unique and enchanting theme, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. From "Fantasy Realms" with knights and dragons, to "Carnivals of Cosplay" experiencing heroes, villains, and everything in-between, and "Time Traveler’s Tales" taking you on a journey through history - the excitement never ends!

The eight themed weekends feature:

Weekend 1: Jester’s Jamboree - A Gaggle of Giggles!

February 1-2,2025

It’s our "grand-iest" opening yet, and to celebrate our arrival, all young squires (Ages 6-11) can enter through the castle gates for free! For this weekend only, the Village of Kimmendale has been transformed into a Kid’s Kingdom where everyone can be a kid, and where every kid is crowned! With bubbly fairies playing with juggling jesters, all the fluffy troll hair you can eat, and a giant rocking horse! Be ready as we have a Minor Takeover on our hands, and we’re in for some Major Merriment!

Weekend 2: Valhalla’s Call - A Saga of Fire and Ice!

February 8 and 9, 2025

The Vikings of the Black Wolf Clan roar as the horns sound off to fire the cannon, granting entry through the gates of Kimmendale! Hailing from frosted territories, these warriors bring us high spirits with tales of old shared over a clash of drinking horns! With the ferocity of their vigor, we invite all to come and partake in this occasion of honor! Arrive with your clan to show off your pride in your helm and hide! Come heed the call as this Norse themed weekend gives rise to the saga of true Viking and Valkyrie!

Weekend 3: Heartstrings and Heraldry - A Valentine’s Weekend!

February 15 and 16, 2025

You’ll discover magic swirling in the wind throughout our festival as we celebrate this weekend with the seasons of love! Decorated with glitter and roses or expressed with a song and dance! Whether you’re renewing your vows or reciting them for the first time. From an aged love to one that’s newly bloomed. Take a stroll down our living past while creating a new future of your very own. By being here with us, love is not just the harmony you’ll experience, it’s a tender warmth that will always be with you.

Weekend 4: Peg Legs and Polly’s - Part of the Ship, Part of the Crew...

February 22 and 23, 2025

Batten down the hatches, it’s our seafaring pirate weekend! Our Harbor calls upon every parrot and scallywag to show us the bonds of your krewe! Enter through our shores to share in the wealth of our journeys, learn about the history we’ve had along the way, or go by the waters to watch a buccaneer’s duel! For without the support of every crewmate, there’s no telling where we’d be without them! The heart of every ship beats in the chests of its crew! So, to our savvy Captains, hoist up your colors and unfurl your sails! It’s time for singing shanties and raising a toast for an honored seadog or two at the Crossroads Pub! HuzzArrrgh!

Weekend 5: Marketplace Mayhem - Shopeth ‘til you Dropeth!

Dates: March 1 and 2, 2025

Huzzah to the paper tipper! This weekend marks the occasion for the wildest weekend celebration of crafts you’ve ever witnessed, to show appreciation to our craftspeople! Don their brands for the first time or add to your collections by showing off your most beloved merchants. Vote for your favorite shop! And give them a cheer for all to hear, as the more you may give, there may be more to get… There’s a shoppe for one and a shoppe for all! Talk to the Artisans about all your curiosities while you watch their live demonstrations and ask them to share their own ‘tales from the tent’ with all of the adventures they’ve had along their journeys! So, make your preparations before the Marketplace Mayhem begins! For honor, for glory, for wares!

Weekend 6: Gears and Gadgets - The Lost Inventions of DaVinci!

March 8 and 9, 2025

Clockwork mechanisms spring to life with glistening flares trapped in glass! Shrieking vapors erupting from sophisticated brass golems! This weekend is to debut the innerworkings of DaVinci’s secret workshops! Bring your horseless self-propelled driven wagons and capture moments in your glowing boxes that function with the touch of the screen! Transverse through the flumes of time and become unlike anything we’ve seen, by bringing all of his undiscovered steampunk inventions, from those journals filled with scripts and schematics of magnificent innovations, into existence! It’s an illustrated world built upon the shoulders of steamers! Now let’s show the village what gadgets and gears can really do!

Weekend 7: Gaelic Legends - Tales of the Blarney Stone!

March 15 and 16, 2025

Come and grab a pint as the legendary tales of the Blarney Stone unfold! As far as the stories we’ve grown up with, between four leaf clovers, wearing green, catching a leprechaun, or it being the real treasure at the end of a rainbow, they tell us that the stone grants you the gift of gab for a kiss! But whichever way it goes, this lucky rock reminds us that with every enchanted fable, alluring myth, or mystic legend, it’s the endless potential and promise of the next adventure that keeps living worth fighting for! So, grab a chum, raise a glass, and tell us about how to find your own Blarney Stone! With a touch of the best of luck, may fortune find you here on your many travels! Sláinte!

Weekend 8: Enchanted Extravaganza - The Characters are on the Loose…

March 22 and 23, 2025

Walk into the thriving Village of Kimmendale as humankind paves our pathways in a wonderous magic. We welcome you to immerse yourself in this miraculous slice of life we call home, where it’s possible to let your troubles slip away. A place where we can go over to our Promenade and hear the captivating stories being exchanged by Mother Goose, Merlin, and Gandalf as we sit beside the seven dwarves! Or with a hop, a skip, and a jump away, take lessons as the Lost Boys teach us how to properly use a sword with the help of Aladdin… As we journey through these eccentric times we call our daily lives, we can still take a moment for ourselves, and create new memories with experiences that transcend the idea of who we think we’re supposed to be. This is where anything is possible, and anything can happen while you’re at the Florida Renaissance Festival. It’s an encounter you’ll only get to experience once a year, while we’re here. So, join us as we make history come alive!
