Celebrate the 4th of July with us! We have a full week of fun activities and events planned at the Inn and around town. Fireworks, a parade, a carnival,  bike tour, lawn games and more.

July 1, 2025

1 - 2:30pm: Découpage Oyster Shell Workshop

Join us for a creative and relaxing workshop where you'll learn the art of découpage using beautiful oyster shells. In this workshop, you'll transform natural oyster shells into stunning decorative pieces using patterned papers. Whether you use them as trinket dishes, ornaments, or gifts, these unique creations are sure to impress. This event is $45 per person. Please register in advance with our concierge at 508-945-6871.

Cancellations received 72 hours or more in advance will incur no charge. For cancellations received 48 – 72 hours in advance, there will be a 50% charge per person. And for cancellations received less than 48 hours in advance, there will be a charge of 100% per person.

3 - 4:30pm: Sandcastle Building Contest

Join us for a fun-filled Sandcastle Building Contest right on our lower beach — a creative challenge for kids and adults alike. Whether you're a master sculptor or just looking to play in the sand, this is your chance to showcase your imagination and teamwork. This complimentary event is open to resort guests and members of all ages. No reservation necessary.

July 2, 2025

6 - 8:30pm: Fireworks & Fun at Veterans Field

Join the town of Chatham for an evening of family fun and a dazzling fireworks show to end the night. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy snacks and dinner from the Chatham Anglers.

6:00pm - 8:30pm: Children's Activities
8:00pm - 9:00pm: Jeff Lowe Band
9:00pm: Fireworks Spectacular

11am - 12pm: Game of Catch with the Chatham Anglers

Step onto our South Lawn and play catch with Chatham's very own Chatham Anglers baseball players. This fun and interactive event gives children the amazing opportunity to toss the ball around with Cape Cod Baseball League players. Whether your child is a budding baseball player or just loves the game, they'll get to ask questions and experience the joy of baseball in a welcoming setting. This complimentary event is open to resort guests and members. Please bring your own baseball gloves, a limited supply of baseball gloves will be available. 

9 - 10am: Bike Tour

Join our guide for a bike tour around the beautiful town of Chatham. Pedal through the scenic beauty of one of Cape Cod's most iconic coastal towns and explore areas such as the Chatham Light House, Monomoy Wildlife Refuge, and Stage Harbor. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, this tour offers a perfect blend of nature, history, and adventure. This event is $40 per person. July 3, 2025

3:30 - 5pm: Patriotic Themed Tie-dye and Stuff a Plush

Get ready to show your red, white, and blue spirit with a creative, hands-on activity. Join us for a family-friendly activity where children can design a one-of-a-kind T-shirt with classic American colors. All materials provided. Children will also have the chance to build their very own stuffed animal and bring their new friend to life at our stuffing station. This event is $25 per activity. 1 - 1:30pm: Poolside Putt with our Managing Director

Join Chatham Bars Inn's very own Managing Director, Claudio Togo, for a chance to take your golf skills to a whole new level as you chip soft foam golf balls onto a floating green in our beautiful pool. This fun and lighthearted competition invites guests of all ages to compete for fun prizes and master the perfect chip. Golf clubs and balls will be provided. This complimentary event is only open to in-house guests.

July 5, 2025

11am - 3pm: Chatham Bars Inn Carnival

Join us for our annual Chatham Bars Inn Carnival. Tickets will be available for purchase during the event to be used towards our multiple inflatables, a variety of carnival games, face painting, concessions & more! There will even be an opportunity to dunk a Chatham Anglers baseball player in the dunk tank. This fun-filled event is suitable for all ages and is open to the public, members, and guests of the Inn.
