Free Learning Series "Little Kids, Big World" Featured at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum

Bismarck, ND - Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to the free interactive learning series "Little Kids, Big World" at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. These interactive 30-minute programs introduce children to North Dakota’s fascinating history. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

"Little Kids, Big World" classes are offered in a large public space with social distancing considerations. Each child is provided with their own supplies. Children and their parents or guardians are asked to meet at the east entrance information desk.

Nov. 4 Feather Fun! 10 and 11 a.m. See the different feathers in the State Museum. Come up with your own creation using feathers.

Nov. 11 Pretty Poppies, 10 and 11 a.m. Did you know poppies are a symbol of remembrance for Veterans Day? Listen to a story about Veterans Day and make poppy window art.

Nov. 18 Turkey Day! 2 and 3 p.m. Thanksgiving is coming soon! Hear a fun story about a turkey, and make one to take home.

Nov. 21 Turkey Day! 10 a.m. Thanksgiving is coming soon! Hear a fun story about a turkey, and make one to take home.

Nov. 25 Corn Art! 10 and 11 a.m. Corn was an important part of Thanksgiving. Enjoy a story about the wonders of corn, and create your own art using corn kernels.
