Get your GCTYO fix this summer! Join our "Strings Camp" for an unbeatable summer experience with GCTYO teaching artists and students who love to make music together.  Camp is open to ALL string students, even if they are not musicians in GCTYO.

GCTYO Summer Music Festival will run weekdays from 9 AM-3 PM at Roger Ludlowe Middle School in Fairfield. Camp details will be sent in May to all registrants. Financial assistance is available for families that qualify. Email [email protected] for more information about financial assistance for summer camp.

Camp highlights:
- 10 full days of music!
- All ages 5th grade and up with at least 1 year experience on instrument
- Audition for placement only
- Two levels of Orchestras: Beginner/Intermediate & Advanced
- Learn from GCTYO conductors and coaches
- Financial assistance available for those who qualify

Festival will include:
- Orchestra and sectionals
- Masterclasses with internationally acclaimed artists and ensembles
- Final concert
- Fun summer activities!

Repertoire notes:
- Traditional/classical
- New and diverse composers
- Alternative genres like fiddling, film, and video game music
