Arizona History through Story and Song
Enjoy a musical tour through Arizona history from Arizona's "official state historian," Marshall Trimble. This cowboy singer, storyteller, humorist, author and educator taught Western and Arizona history for more than 35 years and was head of Southwest Studies at Scottsdale Community College for more than 30 years. A charter member of the Arizona Culture Keeper program and one of the most popular speakers in the state, he has published more than 20 books, appeared on dozens of national television and radio shows, and written for national publications. Don't miss this evening of tales and tunes on Monday, January 9, from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Main Library.

Glendale 100: Scrapbooking
The holidays are over, so let's take time to look back on all the memories you just created! On Tuesday, January 10, from 2-4 PM at the Foothills Library, we're heading back to the 2000s and breaking out the scrapbooking supplies. Please bring your own pictures to use!

In-Person Nutrition Classes
Earn your Certificate in Nutrition through a series of four free classes from the University of Arizona, offered in partnership with the City of Glendale. Classes are taught by Khandle Hedrick, Instructional Specialist, on every Thursday in January from 5-6 PM at the Heroes Regional Park Library. Class topics include Intro, Calories, Key Nutrients & My Plate (1/5); Healthy Fats & Oils – Intro to Food Labels (1/12); Carbs, Sugar & Fiber (1/19); and Protein, Micronutrients & Osteoporosis Prevention (1/26).
