Gov. Beshear Makes Appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions

FRANKFORT, KY - Gov. Andy Beshear has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Gov. Beshear has appointed Tyler Scott Frazier of Richmond as Judge for the 25th Judicial District, Division 1. He shall serve according to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Jeff Allen of Jackson as Property Valuation Administrator for Breathitt County. He shall serve according to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Steven Tuttle of Mount Sterling as Property Valuation Administrator for Montgomery County. He shall serve according to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Robert Stanley of River Bluff as City Commissioner for the City of River Bluff. He shall serve according to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Jim Gray, Clark Williams and Elaine Wilson to the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees. Additionally, the Governor has reappointed Todd Case.

  • Jim Gray of Lexington is the secretary of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. He replaces Raymond Daniels, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2031.
  • Clark Williams of Lexington is the managing member of Progression Strategic Solutions. He replaces Cathy Black, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2031.
  • Elaine Wilson of Somerset is retired from the Somerset Community College. She replaces Frank Shoop, who has resigned, and shall serve for the remainder of the term expiring June 30, 2027.
  • Todd Case of Louisa is the owner of Todd Case Trucking.

Gov. Beshear has reappointed Leslie Combs, Greg Roush and Carl Rollins to the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority Board of Directors and the Kentucky Higher Education Student Loan Corporation Board of Directors to serve for terms expiring July 15, 2029.

  • Leslie Combs of Pikeville is a retired state legislator.
  • Greg Roush of Frankfort is a retired high school principal.
  • Carl Rollins of Midway is a retired state legislator.

Gov. Beshear has reappointed Currie Milliken to the Western Kentucky University Board of Regents to serve for a term expiring June 30, 2031.

  • Currie Milliken of Bowling Green is a self-employed attorney.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Chris McClurg to the Morehead State University Board of Regents to serve for a term expiring June 30, 2031.

  • Chris McClurg of Lexington is a health-care finance professional at St. Claire HealthCare. He replaces Adam Hinton, whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear has reappointed Mike Eaves to the Eastern Kentucky University Board of Regents for a term expiring June 30, 2031.

  • Mike Eaves of Richmond is an attorney at Eaves, Olds, Bohannon and Floyd PLLC.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Matthew Grimshaw and Toni Stringer to the Kentucky State University Board of Regents. Additionally, the Governor has reappointed Edward Hatchett.

  • Matthew Grimshaw of Lexington is president at CHI St. Joseph Health. He replaces Michael Adams, who has resigned, and shall serve for the remainder of the term expiring June 30, 2030.
  • Toni Stringer of Louisville is a retired judge. She replaces Gerald Patton, who was not confirmed by the Senate, and shall serve for the remainder of the term expiring June 30, 2028.
  • Ed Hatchett of Glasgow is the managing member at Blue Spring LLC. He shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2031.

Gov. Beshear has reappointed Meredith Pittman, Lisa Rudzinski, Jacqueline Mayfield, Justin Mitchell and Elijah Edwards to the Educational Professional Standards Board for terms expiring June 30, 2028.

  • Meredith Pittman of Danville represents middle school teachers.
  • Lisa Rudzinski of Louisville represents school administrators.
  • Jacqueline Mayfield of Louisville represents elementary school teachers.
  • Justin Mitchell of Bowling Green represents middle school teachers.
  • Elijah Edwards of Danville represents high school teachers.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Susan Smith, Allison Howell and Jane Alexander to the Kentucky Board of Licensure of Marriage and Family Therapists.

  • Susan Smith of Lexington is a marriage and family therapist at Glencairn Marriage and Family Therapy. She replaces Nicole Ward, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring July 15, 2029.
  • Allison Howell of Brandenburg is a self-employed marriage and family therapist. She replaces Jennifer Kendrick, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring July 15, 2029.
  • Jane Alexander of Lexington is executive director of the Board of Landscape Architects. She replaces Lilian Williams, who resigned, and shall serve for the remainder of the term expiring October 3, 2026.

Gov. Beshear has reappointed Francis Darrell Mattingly and Philip Thornton to the Hart-Supported Living Council for terms expiring July 14, 2028.

  • Francis Darrell Mattingly of Lexington is a web developer at the University of Kentucky.
  • W. Philip Thornton of Nicholasville is a retired university professor.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Alexander Ansley and Sandra Williams to the Kentucky Assistive Technology Loan Corporation Board of Directors for terms expiring July 20, 2029.

  • Alex Ansley of Lexington is a policy and budget analyst for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He replaces Emily Kimbell, whose term has expired.
  • Sandra Williams of Louisville is a retired independent living counselor. She replaces Kenneth Jones, whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Thomas Radivonyk to the Standards and Assessments Process Review Committee for a term expiring July 20, 2029.

  • Thomas Radivonyk of Eddyville is the superintendent of Carlisle County Public Schools. He replaces Deanna Ashby, whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Jonathan Rymer and Bryan Morton to the Kentucky Board of Prosthetics, Orthotics and Pedorthics for terms expiring July 16, 2028.

  • Jonathan Rymer of Louisville is a certified prosthetist and orthotist at Hanger Clinic. He replaces Billy Ray Campbell, whose term has expired.
  • Bryan Morton of Lexington is a certified prosthetist and orthotist at the Hanger Clinic. He replaces Aaron Royster, whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Chase Ritchey, Seth Ankeny, Laura King and Robert Dacci to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 18th Judicial Circuit for terms expiring July 20, 2029.

  • Chase Ritchey of Cynthiana is a real estate agent at Switzer and Associates. He replaces Rose Clifford, whose term has expired.
  • Seth Ankeny of Cynthiana is the owner of 859 Inspections. He replaces Rick Chasteen, whose term has expired.
  • Laura King of Cynthiana is an RN at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She replaces Robert Sparks, whose term has expired.
  • Robert Dacci of Cynthiana is a grant research manager at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He replaces Phillip Turner, whose term has expired.
