From: Oregon Governor Kate BrownSalem, OR—Governor Kate Brown today ordered all flags at Oregon public institutions to be flown at half-staff until sunset today, November 29, in honor and remembrance of United States Representative Donald McEachin.
"I was saddened to learn of the death of Congressman Donald McEachin, an advocate for working families, environmental justice, and his constituents in Virginia," said Governor Brown. "Dan and I are keeping his wife, Colette, and his family in our thoughts and our hearts today."
The Governor's order was issued in conjunction with a proclamation from President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. The full Presidential Proclamation will be posted to the White House's website.
