Governor Parson Makes Six Appointments to Various Boards and Commissions

Jefferson City — Today, Governor Mike Parson announced six appointments to various boards and commissions.

Jonas Arjes, of Walnut Shade, was appointed to the Missouri Development Finance Board.

Mr. Arjes serves as the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer for the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau. He has been with the organization since 2012. He previously served as a Risk and Benefits advisor at Ollis/Akers/Arney Insurance & Business Advisors. Mr. Arjes holds a Bachelor of Science in administrative management from Missouri State University and is a certified economic developer.

Margaret Bultas, of Eureka, was appointed to the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

Dr. Bultas currently serves as an Associate Professor at St. Louis University's Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing. She also serves as a substitute nurse for the Rockwood School District in St. Louis. Dr. Bultas holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. 

Jessica Craig, of Florence, was appointed to the Missouri Development Finance Board.

Ms. Craig joined Economic Development Sedalia-Pettis County in 2016 as the Executive Director, leading business retention, business expansion, new business formation, and business attraction activities for Sedalia and Pettis County. She has more than 18 years of economic development experience, including eight years leading statewide and regional efforts in business attraction and expansion for the Missouri Department of Economic Development. Ms. Craig has also led the workforce training divisions with Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City and State Fair Community College in Sedalia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Bachelor of Science in finance from Missouri Valley College.

Chelley Odle, of Desloge, was appointed to the Amber Alert System Oversight Committee.

Ms. Odle currently serves as owner of Odle Media Group, L.L.C., where she oversees two radio stations, KFMO AM-1240 and B104.3. She also serves as an ambassador for the Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Odle previously served as Director and Board President for Park Hills-Leadington Chamber of Commerce and Director of the Desloge Chamber of commerce.

Tom Oelrichs, of Mora, was appointed to the State Milk Board.

Mr. Oelrichs is currently a partner with O-Rich Dairy, a dairy farm his family owns and operates. He has worked on the family farm since 1980. He serves as a member of his milk cooperative, Dairy Farmers of America, and has served in various community organizations in the Cole Camp area, including the local Fire Department Board, School Board, and ambulance district. 

Lyle Querry, of Independence, was appointed to the Jackson County Board of Election Commissioners.

Mr. Querry is the former Business Manager for Local 53 IBEW. He previously served as a board member of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City and as a committee member for both the Fort Osage Township and the Jackson County Democratic Committee. Mr. Querry has also served as a member of the Democratic Party Executive Committee.
