From: West Virginia Governor Patrick MorriseyCharleston, W.Va. – Governor Patrick Morrisey announced that he has extended the State of Emergency for 30 days in Boone, Cabell, Greenbrier, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, Mercer, McDowell, Mingo, Monroe, Raleigh, Summers, Wayne, and Wyoming counties.
The State of Emergency grants Governor Morrisey the power to delegate certain administrative powers to the Director of the West Virginia Emergency Management Division (WVEMD) to facilitate the provision of essential emergency services, among other powers.
