TALLAHASSEE, FL - On February 19, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Chief Charles Broadway to the State Immigration Enforcement Council.

Chief Charles Broadway
Chief Broadway is the Chief of Police for the Clermont Police Department. Previously, he served as a Special Agent Supervisor for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Active in his community, he is currently appointed to the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Information Systems Council. Chief Broadway earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from St. Johns University.
