From: Florida Governor Ron DeSantisTALLAHASSEE, FL - On February 28, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Carmine Izzo Jr., Amy Longar, Candice Loupe, Andrew Treadwell, and Melanie Wiles to the Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County.
Carmine Izzo Jr.
Izzo is the Deputy Chief of the Port St. Lucie Police Department. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he is a member of the Florida Police Chiefs Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Izzo earned his bachelor’s degree in organization management from Warner University and his master’s degree in criminology and criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University.
Amy Longar
Longar is the Senior Director of Nursing at Cleveland Clinic Martin County. Active in her community, she is the recipient of the 2022 President’s Award from the Cleveland Clinic and previously served as a member of the American Academy of Ambulatory Nursing and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership. Longar earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indian River State College and her master’s degrees in nursing leadership and business administration from Western Governors University.
Candice Loupe
Loupe is the Senior Vice President and Client Experience Director of PNC Bank. Active in her community, she was previously appointed to the Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County. Loupe earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Indian River State College and is completing her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Purdue Global.
Andrew Treadwell
Treadwell is the Associate Vice President of Government and Community Relations at Indian River State College. Active in his community, he is a board member of the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce, the St. Lucie County Economic Development Council, and was recognized as a 2020 “40 Gators Under 40” from the University of Florida. Treadwell earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida and his master’s degree in higher education from Florida Atlantic University.
Melanie Wiles
Wiles is the Director of Parish Development at St. Anastasia Church and School. Active in her community, she currently serves as Chair of Community Connected for Kids and is a committee member of Impact 100 of St. Lucie. Wiles earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of South Florida.
