TALLAHASSEE, FL - On February 28, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Jonathan “Fizzle” Fay and Will Rodriguez and the reappointment of Jeffrey Cathey to Florida Is For Veterans, Inc. Board of Directors.

Jonathan “Fizzle” Fay 
Fay is the Director of Asset Management at Airline MRO Parts and is a Subject Matter Expert for HoldFast Headquarters. A veteran of the United States Navy, he previously served as the Executive Officer of the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (Blue Angels) and was a Special Assistant and Congressional Liaison for the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Fay earned his bachelor's degree in economics from the United States Naval Academy and his master’s degree in business administration from the Naval Post Graduate School. 

Will Rodriguez
Rodriguez is a Partner at Corcoran Partners. With extensive experience in public service, he was previously the Senior Advisor to the Florida Speaker of the House of Representatives, Jose Oliva, and was the Director of Florida House Campaigns. Rodriguez is a veteran of the United States Navy and is a board member of a Classical Preparatory School. 

Jeffrey Cathey
Cathey is currently retired and previously served as the Head of the Military and Veteran Affairs for Bank of America and an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, retiring with the rank of Captain. Active in his community, he currently serves as a member of the Our Community Salutes Board of Directors and the Naval Aviation Museum Board of Directors and was inducted into the Florida Veterans Hall of Fame in 2022. Cathey earned his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of South Florida and his master’s degree in national security and strategic studies from the Naval War College.
