TALLAHASSEE, FL - On February 28, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Allison Richards and the reappointment of Richard “Paul” Mitchell and George “Mark” O’Bryant to the Children’s Services Council of Leon County. 

Allison Richards
Richards is the Commission Aide to Leon County Commissioner Christian Caban. Previously, she served as an Exceptional Student Education Teacher, Classroom Behavior Specialist, and Paraprofessional for Leon County Schools. Richards earned her bachelor’s degree in special education and teaching and her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Florida State University. 

Richard “Paul” Mitchell
Mitchell is a Partner at The Southern Group. Active in his community, he currently serves as the Treasurer of the Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend and previously served as Chair of the Florida Youth Foundation. Mitchell earned his bachelor’s degree in political communications from Florida State University. 

George “Mark” O’Bryant
O’Bryant is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, Inc. Active in his community, he currently serves as a board member and previously served as Chair of the United Way of the Big Bend and the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. O’Bryant earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and his master’s degrees in business administration and healthcare administration from Georgia State University.
