TALLAHASSEE, FL - On June 11, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announces one judicial appointment: 

Joanne Hernandez, of Miami, to serve as Judge on the Miami-Dade County Court

Hernandez has been the Managing Partner of Miami Law Center, PA since 2011. Previously, she was an Associate at the Law Offices of Patrick Cordero, PA. She earned both her bachelor’s degree and juris doctor from Florida International University. Hernandez fills the judicial vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Hochstadt.
