TALLAHASSEE, FL - On January 24, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Marisol Marin Schmid to the Board of Cosmetology.

Marin Schmid, of Miami, is the Administrator of Project Management for the Greater Miami Expressway Agency. She previously served as the Contracts Compliance Manager for the School Board of Miami-Dade County and was a member of the National Contract Management Association. Marin Schmid earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Barry University.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
