POWER OF WOMEN HOLDS TRAILBLAZERS EVENT - LESSONS LEARNED
What an event! Over 70 women and men attended our Power of Women event at the Mission Boathouse in Beverly. The messages and lessons learned from our incredible panel - Jo Broderick Chief of Staff and Dean of College Relations for Montserrat College of Art, Julie Livingston Rtd CEO of Marblehead Bank, State Senator Joan Lovely and Jackie Rapisardi Rtd Elementary School Principal were heartfelt. Follow your gut, believe in yourself, take care of you first, create change, show up with positivity.... sounds so simple until you hear their journeys and how they fought against the odds. Thank you to our moderator, Karen Nascembeni who guided the flow of the event and to our devoted POW Committee led by Linda Turcotte and Melissa McLaughlin.

BREWING BUSINESS - COPPER DOG BOOKS

We held a Brewing Business coffee hosted by Copper Dog Books located at 272 Cabot Street in downtown Beverly. This is your local bookstore offering a huge selection on all topics for all ages! They also have cards, gifts, games, toys and THEY DELIVER!!! Owner Julie Karaganis is a force and wants to collaborate on shop local initiatives with all local organizations and groups!!!

She has a ton of ideas so go see her!

CONGRATULATIONS TO RICH VINCENT - DANVERS ROTARY CLUB PRESIDENT
Congratulations to the newly inducted Danvers Rotary Club President, Rich Vincent! Rich spoke with sincere passion to raise expectations for the club, and of his own goals and vision. Rich embodies service above self! He's a Rotarian, Kiwanian, a Freemason, devoted husband, family man and friend.
It was wonderful that many GBCC members attended to support him!

RUSSELL CENTER CELEBRATES 25 YEARS WITH A CHRISTMAS IN JULY TEDDY BEAR DRIVE
OVER 200 TEDDY BEARS COLLECTED! GBCC member The Russell Center for Chiropractic and Sports Medicine celebrated 25 years in business with a Christmas in July Teddy Bear drive for underprivileged kids.
They collected over 250 teddy bears!
KUDOS!!!

LUNCH AND LEARN - GOOD BRAND PARTNERS
Thank you to Matt Ericksen of Good Brand Partners for his beneficial Lunch and Learn workshops on Reely Confident Instagram Reels. Hands on training was conducted for attendees on how to use Instagram Reels to grow your
business and your impact!

GRATEFUL FRIENDS COMFORT BASKET PROGRAM, August 2023

In partnership with the GBCC Health and Wellness, Grateful Friends welcomes donations from area businesses for their Comfort Basket program, which brings unexpected joy to cancer patients as they journey through their cancer treatment.

The baskets are brimming with supplies aimed at providing some comfort and a little bit of fun for patients receiving chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy. Baskets can be customized for a man or a woman, for chemotherapy or for radiation treatments.

Items will be shipped directly to Grateful Friends.
