KESTREL EDUCATIONAL ADVENTURE HOSTING AN ON-LINE AUCTION - ENDS DECEMBER 10th

Kestrel Educational Adventures, a Beverly-based non profit environmental education organization, is hosting an online auction to raise funds for our school year programming, all of which is kept deliberately affordable.

We have gathered donations from only our favorite places in the area to be offered for auction.
Find a perfect gift for yourself, a friend, or loved one, and support Kestrel at the same time!

If a gift, your loved one will know that this present is extra-special. All items will come with a card letting the recipient know that the gift made an impact in supporting Kestrel's work to inspire wonder, understanding, and connection to the natural world.

GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST AND FUNDRAISER FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
You too can build affordable houses – made out of gingerbread! Register your team of four and join us Saturday Dec 9 from 1-4pm at the Maple Street Church in Danvers to build your masterpiece. The only rule is you have to use the six gingerbread pieces supplied. Feel free to bring your own extra embellishments. Hosted by Danvers Community Access TV (DCAT). Proceeds from the contest will help Habitat build more (real) affordable houses in Essex County.

BEVERLY ROTARY CLUB AUCTIONS A "WALK THE RED CARPET TRIP" TO SUPPORT STUDENTS

COMMUNITY HAPPENING

BEVERLY MAIN STREETS HOST INAGURAL DOWNTOWN WINTER MARKET
Join Beverly Main Streets for a two-night shop small event! On Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th, the public is encouraged to shop, dine, and explore Beverly’s downtown district. Friday’s festivities will take place on Cabot St, while Saturday will see an activation of Rantoul St. Both events will run from 4-8pm. Small businesses will have their doors open for shopping, special deals, seasonal offerings, and pop-up vendors. Participating restaurants and retailers can be spotted by the paper luminaries displayed outside their doors.

Be sure to check out the pop-up artist markets both nights–on Friday, the First Baptist Church and First Parish Church will host independent artisans, and on Saturday artist booths can be found at the Castle Restaurant & Bar and at Sully’s/Bridge Nine Records. There will also be special guest appearances from Mrs. Claus and the Grinch, as well as entertainment from the Beverly High School jazz and woodwind groups, Moonrise Fae, and more.

Every Monday in December from 10 AM - 6 PM, all local Beverly business owners will receive 25% off their entire purchase (excluding gift cards). We'd like to encourage business owners to bring in a business card, menu, pamphlet, etc. to pin to our corkboard in store, as we've noticed many travelers come in from out of town & we'd love to encourage other local businesses as well!
