The Farmington Founders Festival Beer Tent returns to Downtown Farmington at Grand River and Farmington Road. It's going to be a dance party

Farmington Fido Fest
One of the festivals most popular attractions, is returning to Downtown Farmington at Riley Park  Farmington Fido Fest presented by LaFontaine of Commerce will include popular attractions from the Ultimate Air Dogs and Disc Dogs of Michigan Frisbee Show. Dogs and their owners can check out the newest doggy products or participate in one of the many contests throughout the weekend.

The Kids Zone is located on State Street and Farmington Road.  All the traditional fun is coming back including Airborne Bouncers, stage shows and live sand art  Come watch sand artists create a sand sculpture  with 10 yards of sand Kids can get in on the action too. Sand Artists will teach children how to make their own sand sculptures in the play sandboxes on-site. They'll also receive a booklet: Sand Sculpting Tips and Tricks to take home.    

Returning this year is a Foam Party and Gaming Trailer.  Kids will get to dance and play at the Foam Party. The foam is Bio-degradable, Non-Staining, Non-toxic and Hypoallergenic It’s also safe for babies, pets, the environment including lawns and gardens. Motor City Gamers and More will be on-site with Free video games  The Motor City Gamers And More video game truck is equipped with consoles from PlayStation5, XBox One X and Nintendo Switch.  Our technology is unrivaled First come; first serve.  Hours: Friday 10am –8pm.

9:00 a.m: LOC Credit Union 5k Color Run
The LOC Credit Union Color Run will take place on Saturday, July 22nd in beautiful Downtown Farmington.  This 5k fun run will give participants the opportunity to run through Shiawassee Park and Downtown Farmington.

This race has something for everyone. If you are a competitive runner this will be an accurate 5k with age group medals for awards. There will be four color stations throughout the race route and there will be enough room to breeze straight past them without getting splashed with color.

The entry fee includes a t-shirt.  For those signing up after June 24th, 2023 we can't guarantee runner shirts.  
If you want to challenge yourself to run or walk a 5k but while having some fun (and color), this race is for you

Farmington Founders Festival Parade present by Beaumont Health
This year’s parade will take place on Grand River Ave between Powers and Farmington Road with Enchantment Under the Sea as this years theme.  The Grand Marshall will be announced soon
Parade Start Time: Saturday, July 22nd at 10:00 a.m.
