Celebrate America’s birthday with an explosion of fun and music at O’Fallon’s Heritage & Freedom Fest. Admission to the festival grounds at the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex is free.

Family Night featuring carnival rides, a colorful midway and carnival vendors with food and beverages. Free sideshow entertainment will be available, too. Plus, enjoy a free concert by Ian Ferguson from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm adjacent to the Main Stage.

7:30 PM - 9:30 PM: Ian Ferguson

Ian Ferguson, a talented singer-songwriter from Perryville, Mo, began playing guitar at just eight years old and has been honing his craft ever since. His heartfelt songs, including “Slow Dancing,” “Goodbye,” and “Land of the Free,” reflect his personal experiences and his commitment to standing up for what he believes in.

10:30 AM: Heritage & Freedom Fest Parade

O’Fallon’s Heritage & Freedom Fest parade is one of the largest and most colorful in the area. The parade draws a crowd of thousands proudly dressed in red, white and blue, and cheering for the patriotic parade entries vying for cash prizes and trophies.

O’Fallon’s Heritage & Freedom Fest Parade officially kicks off the City’s Independence Day celebration at 9:30 a.m. on July 4th. The parade route starts at the corner of Main Street and Civic Park Drive, continuing north on Main Street to Tom Ginnever Avenue, where it turns east, ending at T.R. Hughes Boulevard near the entrance to the festival grounds. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to avoid traffic closures and find a spot along the route.
