AWARDS & ACCOLADES
MEDEA RE:VERSED & MORE!

Some familiar productions and artists were nominated for this year's 2025 Lucille Lortel Award announced on April 2. The awards, which recognize excellence in New York Off-Broadway theatre, and are named for Lucille Lortel, an actress and theater producer, have been awarded since 1986.

Medea: Reversed (2024), co-produced with Red Bull and Bedlam, received FOUR nominations: 

  • Outstanding Musical: Playwright Luis Alberto Quintero
  • Outstanding Lead Performer in a Musical: Sarin Monae
  • Best Featured Performer in a Musical: Jacob Ming-Trent
  • Outstanding Sound Design: Matt Otto

Whitney White (playwright of last season's By The Queen) was nominated for her play Liberation at Roundabout Theatre Company.

And lastly, 2025 Company member Mia Pak was nominated for Dave Malloy's Three Houses at Signature Theatre. Dave is also the author of this year's musical Octet, which Mia will perform in.
