Community leader Ian Lovejoy is proud to announce he is the 2023 Republican nominee for the Virginia House of Delegates in District 22. Ian is a long-time Virginian, former city councilman, small business leader, and entrepreneur who has an extensive track record of working with community advocates and public servants across Prince William County.
Ian has also served on numerous boards, including time as Chairman of the Manassas City Economic Development Committee. During his tenure, the region Virginia’s largest economic development project in history bringing thousands of new jobs to the area.
Ian’s priorities in office will be Protecting Prince William County’s Residential Neighborhoods and the Rural Crescent from data center overdevelopment, Promoting Excellence in Education through empowering parents to work with teachers in responding to the unique needs of each student, the Creation of Jobs, Lowering Tax Burdens on working families, Supporting Our Veterans by expanding veteran care centers, and Ensuring Public Safety by fully supporting our law enforcement heroes.
“I am honored to be entrusted with the Republican nomination for District 22, I look forward to meeting voters across the 22nd District and discussing our pro family agenda to improve our schools, get tough on violent crime, preserve our community, and cut taxes on working families,” said Lovejoy “voters are tired of partisan gridlock and want action on these important issues. There’s important work to be done and Virginia can’t wait.”
Virginia’s 22nd House District is entirely located within Prince William County and encompasses the communities of Bristow and Nokesville, as well as parts of Gainesville and Manassas.
