On Saturday, ahead of the April 29th special election for the Cobb County Board of Commissioners, Georgia Democrats mobilized volunteers to get out the vote by knocking on doors to boost District 2 candidate Erick Allen and District 4 Commissioner Monique Sheffield.

“Georgia Democrats don’t take ‘off years’, and that’s why we got out and knocked doors to let our neighbors in Cobb County know there’s an election that will determine the majority control of their county commission,” said DPG Interim Chair Matthew Wilson. “Georgia Democrats are organizing all year round, in every election, at every level of the ticket – and it’s clear that Georgians are fired up to elect Erick Allen and Commissioner Monique Sheffield to fight for them on the Cobb County Board of Commissioners.”

Cobb County voters should make a plan to vote in person at their assigned polling location between 7am and 7pm today, Election Day, April 29th. Georgians can visit their My Voter Page to find their polling place and other information they need to make a plan to vote.
