From: New Hampshire Governor Kelly AyotteCONCORD, N.H. – On Mar 10th, Manchester Mayor Jay Ruais, the Manchester Board of Aldermen, and a bipartisan group of mayors from across New Hampshire sent letters to the Legislature calling on them to fix the broken bail law.
“We urge the Legislature to find compromise on this critical issue to specifically address violent and repeat offenders,” reads the letter from Mayor Ruais and seven mayors across New Hampshire. “Like you, we believe public safety in New Hampshire to be non-negotiable. Our citizens, businesses and tourists deserve our best efforts when it comes to keeping our streets safe.”
