Independence Day is right around the corner and if you are still looking for the best 4th of July celebrations in Colorado, look no further. Idaho Springs hosts a fantastic event that is the perfect way to spend your 4th! With live music, dancing, and – of course – fireworks, this event, plus the friendly faces in town, make this a tradition to keep year after year.
The Best of the Best
Idaho Springs is certainly home to one of the best 4th of July celebrations in Colorado, and this year is no exception. The day starts at 2:00 PM in Citizen’s Park with some incredible, local live music. Dancing will be a must when you hear these sweet tunes!
The live music and dancing will continue through the afternoon and evening. If you need a break to revive your energy, hop on over to the Beer Garden and enjoy the best local brews around. To go with your beer (perfectly, we might add), there will be delicious barbecue! Sounds like the Idaho Springs experience!
Go Out with a Bang
To top the evening off, enjoy a spectacular fireworks show over the beautiful scenery and historic Charlie Taylor Water Wheel. You’ll get the taste of the town with a classic Independence Day fireworks display. This show is the icing on the cake and part of what makes this one of the best 4th of July celebrations in Colorado. Even better, if you can’t make it to the 4th of July shindig, Idaho Springs has many events for you to enjoy!
