Join us for the 2025 Independence Bank Sorghum Festival, held at the Hancock County Fairgrounds! With live music, vendors, sorghum cooking demonstrations, inflatables, quilt shows, antique tractors, and more, this event is fun for the whole family!

Admission is Free, but all are encouraged to donate non-perishable items to the backpack program aiding Hancock County students.

Schedule of Events:

10:00 am: Inflatables and vendors open, quilt show begins (in front of 4-H building), tractor show begins, live wood carving

10:00 am - 11:00am: Dance Haven performance (front pavillion)

11:00 am: Pony pull starts

11:00 am - 2:00 pm: Sweetwater Band (front pavillion)

1:00 pm: Kids games begin (near inflatables,prizes awarded)

1:30 pm - 2:00 pm: Costume contest (near inflatables, prizes awarded)

2:00 pm - 2:30 pm: Tractor parade begins (awards given)

2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Hancock County High School Choir
