Each March, Macon becomes a pink, cotton-spun paradise as hundreds of thousands of Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory. Originally a sleepy southern town, Macon has now become a bustling center of beauty and international friendship.

Join state and local dignitaries, Cherry Blossom Board of Directors and the Macon community to kickoff the 43rd Cherry Blossom Festival.

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm: Cherry Blossom Gospel Fest - United Community Church 2411 Heath Road, Macon, Georgia

Join us for an evening of gospel music from two of gospel music, finest groups. The legendary group The Kingsman with special guests King’s Cross & Dayspring Trio. At this year’s Cherry Blossom Gospel Fest we hope this evening of gospel music brings hope by inspiring and uplifting people through the message of Jesus Christ.

7:00 am - 10:30 am: Pink Pancake Breakfast - Luther Williams Stadium Willie Glover Drive, Macon

An annual favorite! Join the fun with the Macon-Bibb Fire Department as they  partner with Macon Bacon for the legendary Pink Pancake Breakfast. All the pink pancakes, sausage, bacon, orange juice, milk and coffee you can eat!

$8 for adults and $4 for children 5 and under.
All proceeds go to American Cancer Society.

10:00 am - 1:00 pm: Custom Car Cruise-In - Cherry Street Macon
Come join the Custom Car Cruise-In in downtown Macon on Cherry Street to get a glimpse at all of your favorite custom cars from 10 am – 1pm. Stay around for the Weiner Dog Race, Musical Chairs, Bed Race and Ultimate Air Dogs Dock Diving Competition put on by the Festival. There is something for everyone. Get ready for a great Saturday in Downtown Macon.

10:00 am - 6:00 pm: CBF Isekai - Georgia Sports Hall of Fame 301 Cherry St, Macon
CBF ISEKAI is a gaming tournament and nerd culture convention. We will be hosting a cosplay contest and other community-focused events.

11:00 am - 5:00 pm: Ultimate Air Dogs Dock Diving Competition - Second Street Macon

These talented doggos are sure to impress with their skills! The Ultimate Air Dogs Dock Diving Competition will host qualifying rounds right here in Macon, Georgia. Even if you don’t have a dog competing, there is an opportunity for them to take a try at diving for $20 per dog/per day.

Dachshund Dogs race down Cherry Street for the title of “Fastest Wiener Dog in Middle Georgia!” We guarantee this is an event you don’t want to miss for Dog Days of Downtown. After the race, head over to Second Street for the Ultimate Air Dog Dock Diving Competition. Don’t forget to tag us in pictures of your furry friends on Facebook and Instagram!

1:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Musical Chairs - Cherry Street Macon

Prepare to laugh out loud as local celebrities and community members compete in the utlimate game of musical chairs wearing inflatable animal costumes.

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Bed Race - Cherry Street at Third Street Cherry Street, Macon
The Bed Race is definitely an event you don’t want to sleep on! Cheer on teams as they race their bed down Cherry Street and compete for the Dream Team Award, Sleep Walkers Award and Best in Bed Award. You’ll have to come and see for yourself!

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Macon Rampage Vs Cherokee County Bruins - Henderson Stadium 2172 Anthony Rd, Macon

Join us for an unforgettable evening as the Macon Rampage football team takes on their fierce rivals from up north, the Cherokee County Bruins, in a high-stakes regular season clash! This is outdoor, full-contact football at its finest—raw, intense, and packed with passion. We’re thrilled to partner with Visit Macon to celebrate the strong ties between Macon and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. This special game will honor our shared heritage and community spirit, making it a night to remember.
