Join 130+ Nonprofits for CV Giving Day 2025: $145K Prize Pool Provided by FirstBank and Other Partners

Nonprofits can register until February 23, 2025

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (January 30, 2025) - FirstBank, one of the nation's largest privately held banks with a focus on "banking for good," announced the third annual Coachella Valley Giving Day (CV Giving Day) incentive prize pool will be $145,000 to increase nonprofit support. Scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the event has already seen over 130 nonprofits register to participate. Registration for eligible 501(c)(3) organizations is open through February 23, 2025. 

FirstBank, Desert Community Foundation (DCF), the Regional Access Project Foundation (RAP), Amazon, and the Auen Foundation contributed to the $145,000 incentive fund. The incentive pool will offer cash prizes ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 to participating nonprofits across several categories

"CV Giving Day offers a unique platform for organizations to amplify their message and fundraising efforts,” said Mary Panesar, Executive Director at DCF. “We urge eligible nonprofits to sign up and be part of this community-wide celebration of giving."

Early giving for CV Giving Day starts on February 4, 2025, allowing donors to support their chosen nonprofits before the official event begins.
