From: State Historical Society of North DakotaJuly Activities Planned at Welk Homestead State Historic Site
BISMARCK, N.D. – The Welk Homestead State Historic Site will be hosting a blacksmith demonstration and Creative Crafting Days in July. All events are free and open to the public.
Amateur blacksmith Bob McCay will share his knowledge of the craft on July 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Creative Crafting: Agriculture will feature painting wooden farm animal cutouts on July 8 from 1 to 3 p.m.
On July 22 from 1 to 3 p.m., visitors will decorate gingerbread people cookies at Creative Crafting: Gingerbread Cookies.
The Welk Homestead, located at 845 88th St. SE, Strasburg, is a state historic site managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
