Each year, The Juneteenth Festival of The Carolinas celebrates the end of slavery, and the African American community is taking the opportunity to come together to reflect on and remember the historical event. The Juneteenth committee proudly schedules events that are carefully selected to maximize the experience for all who attend. This year is no different! 9:00am - 4:00pm - Youth Culture camp

June 14, 2024 Friday

5:00pm - 9:00pm - Drum Circle

June 15, 2024 Saturday

12:00pm - 10:00pm - Opening Ceremony, Prayer, Juneteenth History, and Continuous Live Entertainment

Join us at 11am. The Freedom March will begin at Skyla Credit Union 718 Central Avenue and end at the House of Africa on Central Avenue and Thomas Avenue where the festival started 27 years ago. Join us for a peaceful celebration
