Celebrating Life and Death: Dia de los Muertos 2023

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is an annual Mexican holiday honoring those who have passed away. At the beginning of November each year, people come together to welcome back the souls of their deceased loved ones. Through ritual, altar-making, food, dance, and music, past and present generations are reunited.

This year our Festival Dia de los Muertos is taking place on November 3rd and 4th at the new Kennett Square Library with an after party 8pm to closing at The Kennett Creamery. This year we are honoring the magical state of Oaxaca!
