Kick Off Crab Fest with this catered open-house celebration, including live handbell music performed by Kodiak's own Isle Bells.
Enjoy treats and beverages while bidding on unique items and services donated by local businesses. All proceeds will benefit the Kodiak Kindness Project.

Crab Festival Grand Parade
Location: Mill Bay Road between Powell and Bartel
Participants line up at Main Elementary starting at 8:30 a.m - 9:30 a.m.
Join us Saturday, May 27th from 10:00 a.m - 11:30 a.m. The parade route will be on Mill Bay between Powell and Bartel Street.
Parking is limited so be sure to come early.

Norm Holm Survival Suit Race
Location: The Harbor
Teams that want to participate must sign up at the boat ramp by Harbormaster’s office before 12:30 PM day of event. Serious fun in this popular event! Entry fee is $40 per team.
Those who get 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place will receive plaque, and their choice of sweatshirt. All participants receive a T-shirt.

Crab Festival Shrimp Parade
Location: Noodles Parking Lot
Participants 10 and under are invited to march in the Shrimp Parade! Line-up at 930 AM, parade starts at 10 AM.
All entrants must be under adult supervision before the parade and while walking the parade route.
Certificates will be awarded for Hottest Wheels, Most Creative, Best Crab Fest Theme (Bringing the Kodiak Community Together for 65 year), Most Spirited, Cutest Crab and Most Kodiak.

Crawl-the-Rock, Baby
Location: Sargent Park
Crawling babies or barely-walking toddlers (who don't follow instructions) “race” from one caregiver at the start line to a second caregiver at the finish line about 25 feet away. Door prizes from local businesses and a play-by-play announcer make this a joyful celebration of Kodiak’s youngest residents sure to bring a smile to every face!! Kodiak 4-H 35th Annual Sourdough Pancake Breakfast
Location: Kodiak Elks Lodge
You are invited to join us for a delicious pancake breakfast on Monday, May 29. Our sourdough pancakes are made from a starter that is over 100 years old.
Your support of this fundraising event contributes to youth leadership and learning activities for children ages 5-18 in the Kodiak area.

Blessing of the Fleet
Location: Ferry Dock
The traditional blessing of the fleet is open to all vessels. A blessing service is sung followed by an Orthodox priest sprinkling each passing vessel with Holy Water. For more information contact the Harbormaster office at (907) 486-8080.
