From: Lamoille Region Chamber of CommerceWe have heard from many of you looking to receive or contribute to philanthropy in response to the flooding. Please see below for an outline of what we are aware of at this time.
Vermont Main Street Flood Recovery Fund, in partnership with Capstone Community Action is raising money to provide grants to Vermont's small business owners impacted by July 10th's flooding. The Fund will provide grants in the range of $2,500-$10,000 to cover costs such as equipment replacement, supplies and help with clean-up.
VT Flood Response & Recovery Fund 2023, established by The Vermont Community Foundation to support Vermonters in responding to and recovering from the catastrophic rainfall across Vermont in 2023.
Vermont Farm Fund by the Center for Agricultural Economy provides no-hassle, friendly-term loans to Vermont farmers and food producers and seeks donations.
NOFA-VT asks farmers to report flooding impacts for their initial assessment of damages to provide support and coordinate recovery. Also see NOFA-VT's Flood Response Resources for Farmers.
