Landry Announces SBA Grants Economic Injury Disaster Loans Following Terrorist Attack

New Orleans, LA - Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry announced the U.S. Small Business Administration has granted his request for a Declaration of an Economic Injury Disaster for the State of Louisiana. This will make SBA Loans available for impacted businesses. Parishes affected include Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, and St. Tammany Parish. The Economic Injury Disaster Loan will end October 3, 2025.  

“Louisiana, especially New Orleans, thrives off local businesses unique to the area. This declaration is crucial to ensuring those affected by the horrific New Year’s Day attack get the help they need to return to business,” said Governor Jeff Landry. “I appreciate the U.S. Small Business Administration for their swift action on this.”
