Thank you to all those who have supported us in many ways in the past! The upcoming George Washington Birthday Ball on February 23, 2024, will honor George Washington and benefit Fraunces Tavern® Museum. For those who cannot attend, we hope you will consider making a contribution to help us continue our mission.  

At the Ball, we will honor United States Coast Guard Captain Zeita Merchant, Commander of Sector New York, the largest Coast Guard operational field command on the East Coast, with the Distinguished Patriot Award.  The USCG was established in 1790 by Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton as the Revenue Marine Service.  We are pleased not only to honor Captain Merchant, but also to recognize this branch of our country’s Armed Forces. For those interested in being listed on the invitation for next year's  Ball as a member of the Benefit Committee, the deadline is December 4, 2023. January 25, 2024 is the deadline for a commemorative Ball Journal listing. Regular tickets will go on sale December 5, 2023.
