Schedule of Events

12pm Winter Carnival Kick off, Ice Sculpture Installation Begins, Registration opens, and lunch served by the Long Lake Fire Department

Special Burning of the  Christmas Trees New for 2025, Call 518-624-3088 to schedule a pick up of your Christmas Tree by the Long Lake Highway Department. 

12pm - Winter Carnival Begins/Bonfire Lighting

12:30pm - Coronation

1:00pm - Cardboard Sled Races (Divisions for all ages)

1:45pm - Town-Wide Photograph with Royalty – immediately following Cardboard Sled Races** (could be earlier, could be later!) Join us!

2:00pm - Kids Balloon Chase for Ages 9 and under

2:30 pm - Men’s Caber Toss  – 18 and Up

3:00pm - Ladies Frying Pan Toss 18 and up

Break - Ice Skating and Sledding Continue

5pm - Little Bus Runs 518-304-3511

6pm - Fireworks at Mt. Sabattis

Saturday, January 18th – Live Music featuring the Altered Tones at the Long Lake Diner/Owls Head Pub after the Carnival!
