A brief history of how American musical theatre was developed. From Viennese operetta thru Gilbert and Sullivan, to Burlesque and vaudeville, Zigfeld Follies up to 20th century American musical theatre. An in-depth look at how 42nd Street got this way! Four two-hour lectures by music historian Bill Sano.

Our stuffies are looking for a new home! We have cat and dog stuffies up for adoption. You'll pick a either a cat or dog then name them and make them a collar out of beads and a pipe cleaner! Registration required as stuffies are limited. A child can only be registered for 1 session.

Not only that, there are more coming! Join us on April 19th for next the Virtual Lunchtime Lecture: Explore The Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park.
Along the Blackstone River, a number of enterprising colonists and their descendants started businesses that would change the course of history. Discover how large corporations grew out of small mill villages in the 19th century. While focusing on a few case studies in labor history, examine the beginnings of industry in the United States. Learn about this National Historical Park with Park Ranger Allison Horrocks. Register here.

Try out a board game, then take it home to play with your family and friends! Play around with a selfie stick, then take it with you on your next vacation! Craft tools! Slide viewer! Puzzles galore!!! All items in our Library of Things are free to borrow--come take a look at what we have!
