From: Woodland Opera House TheatreDear friends,
With our production of Legally Blonde the Musical resuming and patrons planning to attend a variety of future shows, we would like to address a concern that has come to light recently. Unfortunately, we’ve found that there are online websites that are not associated with us in any way, trying to sell tickets to our performances. In many cases they are legitimate Opera House tickets but being resold at outrageously inflated prices. In other cases, there is absolutely nothing legitimate about them.
Our concern is for both our regular patrons, and those new to the Opera House. We do not want you to be taken advantage of in any way and we ask that you help us to combat this problem.
Here are some keyways you can help:
Do not purchase tickets from any site other than www.WoodlandOperaHouse.org
If you have been scammed or know someone who has, report it to https://www.bbb.org/scamtracker/reportscam. The BBB makes reporting very simple, and they have investigators who follow through on your reports to ensure that these kind of websites are shut down.
Report to us if you come across a scam. Please send a quick email to [email protected]. Each report helps us to be more alert from our side.
Last, please share this email with anyone you feel can benefit from the information.
Thank you for supporting the WOH in this effort. Our goal is to spread awareness, while caring for our community!
