It may be Back to School for kids, but that doesn't mean the adults can't sign up for classes, too. Interested in computers and tech? Register for an Intro to Web Programming class to gain valuable coding skills or book a station in our Technology & Innovation Center to try out something new. Learn how to make 3D prints or explore the world of virtual reality (VR). Dive into a photo editing project or create an animation. Oh, and definitely ask us about our WhisperRoom recording booth!

On Friday, August 25, learn about A.I. and the latest programs you can use to check it out, like ChatGPT or DALL-E. Discuss the possibilities that come with such a powerful tool and how you can use it in your day-to-day life.
Twitch 101: Get paid for your passion
On Wednesday, August 30, learn key tips about live streaming, building your audience, and kickstarting your Twitch channel. Get ready to dive into the world's leading streaming platform!
Traveling to Japan 101
On Monday, August 21, join the local Morikami Museum as they give you tips on attractions and sites to see, Japanese customs to remember, and gestures to use while you are there. They will also cover how to get around and the correct transportation to use.
Robert Ross Performance
On Sunday, August 20, enjoy the music of this two-time winner of the New York Music Award for Best Blues Artist, live in concert! Robert Ross is an American blues singer, songwriter, acoustic and electric guitarist, slide guitarist, and harmonica player.
Did you know?
We now have a Seed Library on the fourth floor of the library! We welcome our local gardeners to come check out our seed collection comprised of more than 20 varieties of vegetables, herbs, flowers, and more. Just sign your name and write which seeds you take on the register and get to gardening! Limit 6 seed packets per patron per month.

Meet and Greet Our Homework Center Teachers

For grades K-5. Enjoy a meet and greet with our certified Homework Center teachers and learn how to make this year successful!
Children who register to visit the Homework Center for this upcoming school year will receive a backpack with free school supplies, while supplies last, and be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.

Ages & Stages Playtime: Social Emotional Development
Tuesday, August 15 | 10:30 a.m. – Noon | In Person | KidSpace | Kids
Early Intervention Specialists from the Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach will facilitate a pop-up playtime for children from birth to age 5. Families will be provided with materials to play and grow social-emotional development.
Parents are welcome to drop in, engage with each station to learn new skills, and check on the social-emotional development of their children with a specialist.
