With all of these hungry mouths to feed, we are going through about 100lbs of fish every single day! At $1.20 per pound for restaurant quality fish, it is currently costing us $840 every week to just feed our patients.

Happy Marine Mammal Rescue Day to our amazing staff and volunteers!

Yesterday we celebrated Marine Mammal Rescue Day. Over the past 45 years, the Marine Mammal Stranding Center has responded to 5,958 marine mammals and sea turtles that have come ashore in New Jersey. Our team's hard work and dedication to the animals never stops, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In animal rescue and rehabilitation, the days are long and at times exhausting, but the passion for making a positive impact on the lives of marine mammals and sea turtles is what drives our mission.

And thank you to all of our supporters for continuing to help us give animals a second chance at life, it all starts with YOU!
