Boston, MA - On December 5, 2024, the Massachusetts Republican Party proudly announced the appointment of former Party Chair Jennifer Nassour as the new Finance Chair. Nassour, an attorney and seasoned political operative, brings a wealth of experience to this critical role. During her tenure as Party Chair, she played a pivotal role in the election of former Senator Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate in 2010, marking the first time a Republican had been elected to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts since 1972. Additionally, she oversaw the election of 16 Republicans to the Massachusetts House of Representatives, achieving the first net increase of Republicans in 20 years.
MassGOP Chair Amy Carnevale expressed her full support for Nassour’s appointment, stating, “I can’t think of anyone better suited for the job. Jenn has a proven history of success in Massachusetts, and her network and ability to lead are unmatched. I’m confident she will continue the party’s momentum and elevate our fundraising efforts into 2026.”
Carnevale continued, “Jenn is a superstar. She’s a powerful communicator and connector who excels in every setting. She will be an outstanding representative of the party and we’re lucky to have her on board.”
Nassour herself expressed enthusiasm and determination in her new role, stating, “I’m excited to get started. Under Amy’s leadership, the MassGOP has made tremendous strides in winning elections and strengthening the Party. We are in a strong position to raise money and achieve even greater success. We’ve been punching well above our weight, and I look forward to bringing in more resources to fuel our victories in 2026 and beyond.”
